My name is Brooke
I'm your Northern Michigan photographer! I take professional photos for families, couples, proposals, weddings, celebrations, holidays, and pretty much anything else you can come up with!
I have a golden retriever named Oakley, a black cat named Meeks, and a fiancé named Adam - he's also a photographer! My favorite foods are donuts, sushi, and spaghetti, and I'm obsessed with whales (and know an embarrassingly lot of whale trivia). My dream is to one day swim with them in the arctic!
What my friends and family would say:
I think my friends and family would describe me as someone who is goofy, always tries to make sure everyone feels included, and is very kind unless someone is UN-kind to someone I care about (I'm very loyal to my people!). They would say I'm very adventurous, that I'm too obsessed with snowboarding and playing Catan because I ask them to join me every week, and that I love helping others (I also work part time as a physical therapist at my local hospital).
My fiancé would say I take on way too many volunteer projects, but he supports me endlessly and we love him for that. This past year I was able to use the profits from my Christmas photoshoots to run a holiday Bingo for Mary Free Bed patients that spent Christmas at Munson Medical Center, did a volunteer photoshoot at Pets Supplies Plus to raise money for Hoops Pet Food Pantry, and was able to volunteer as a photographer for the Special Olympics of Michigan.
What else I do for fun:
When I'm not working, snowboarding, or playing Catan, I'm traveling as much as I can. We have a travel van we renovated named Eddie and I loveee spending time outside. The mountains are my happy place and Adam and I will be getting married in Rocky Mountain National Park later this year! I also love scary movies, hiking with my dog, watching whale documentaries, and visiting anywhere new. I'm a sucker for a coffee shop with good vibes, romanticizing my car rides with some Noah Kahan, enjoying beaches in little Northern Michigan beach towns, and ordering pineapple on my pizza.
